Meet , a driven biomedical engineering student graduating this May with a global perspective and a growing passion for venture capital. Originally from Hungary, Evelin has already built an impressive track record—working her way through the NEOSVF - VCIC - CWRU Alumni Venture Fund student engagement pipeline and completing an internship at UH Ventures, where she got an inside look at innovation in the healthcare space.
Why did you join the CWRU AVF Fellowship?
“I wanted to learn more about startups through the lens of investors,” Evelin shares. With a background in engineering and a growing curiosity about the business side of innovation, she saw CWRU AVF as the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into venture capital and early-stage investing.
What excites you most about CWRU AVF?
Evelin loves the collaborative nature of the fellowship. “Being part of CWRU AVF helped me meet people from all across the University,” she says. “I really enjoy how we’re able to leverage everyone’s experiences and expertise when we team up to do due diligence.”
