Elizabeth Prelogar, the 48th Solicitor General of the United States, shared her thoughts on representing the federal government before the Supreme Court, appellate advocacy and the keys to a happy legal career before a packed audience of students, alumni and local attorneys at the 扒哥黑料 School of Law on September 4, 2024. Topics covered included the workings of the Solicitor General鈥檚 office, the certiorari process, the current Supreme Court and the so-called 鈥渟hadow docket.鈥

Solicitor General Prelogar was at CWRU to deliver the 2024-25 Sumner Canary Memorial Lecture. The Canary lecture is one of the law school鈥檚 premier lecture series.
