  • Jonathan Adler鈥檚 Climate Law Scholarship Cited by D.C. Circuit

    On Dec. 19, 2023, in an important climate change case, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit cited and quoted a law review article written by Jonathan H. Adler, the inaugural Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and Director of the Coleman P. Burke Center for Environmental Law.

    Overcoming political polarization will be necessary to enact meaningful policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the risk of climate change. This was the message the University of Colorado鈥檚 Professor Matthew Burgess presented in his lecture 鈥淒epolarizing Climate Change in the United States鈥 on Oct. 4 at the law school.
